High Pressure Sodium as known as (HPS) has a ceramic arc tube wich is a cylnder type tube. The tube contains two electrodes meaning its pulse start, mercury, and sodium minerals, to vaporize while warming up, and the ANSI code is "S" and the number with it, for example: S50 = 250 watt HPS

Light ColorEdit

As HPS lamps, they are orange cause of the sodium vaporized. They are also in streetlighting, on roadways and on some aera lights too.

Burnning outEdit

HPS lamps Cycle on and off to strike an arc to arc tube of the electrodes, they have been worned out and that means lamp is about cycle, and arc tube is black once burning out.
